An alumnus of St. Edward’s University, Chris Ragland serves on the Board of Trustees for this nationally ranked Holy Cross university, founded in 1885. St. Edward’s is a proud Hispanic Serving Institution located in Austin, Texas, dedicated to educating the hearts and minds of undergraduate and graduate students, preparing them to make a difference.

As a dedicated member of the Board of Directors for The Trail Conservancy, Chris Ragland actively contributes to the organization’s mission. The Trail Conservancy is committed to preserving, enhancing, and connecting the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail for the benefit of all. Originally established in 2003 as the Town Lake Trail Foundation, The Trail Conservancy continues the legacy of the historic efforts initiated by the Citizens Committee in 1971. With nearly 5 million annual visits, the Trail Conservancy consistently improves amenities and safeguards points of interest, ensuring that the Trail remains an enjoyable destination for all to explore.
